NCH Celebrates Cancer Survivors at 13th Annual Event

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (June 5, 2014) - Cancer survivors, caregivers, family and friends are invited to celebrate survivorship together as Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) hosts its 13th annual Cancer Survivor Celebration from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.

The celebratory event will be held at the Arlington Heights Senior Center at 1801 W. Central Road (at Wilke Road) in Arlington Heights, just west of the hospital campus. Activities include a DJ, games and free raffle prizes. Several of NCH's Animal-Assisted Therapy teams will be on hand, too.

NCH will supply the main dishes and drinks, while attendees are asked to bring an appetizer, salad or dessert to share. There is no admission fee to the event. For more information and to register, call NCH at 847.618.6660 by Tuesday, June 17.
