Area Artists & Craftsartists to Exhibit in Pak Ridge Show

Area Artists will join with artists and craftsartists from far and near to present an intriging variety of work on display by those who created the work during the 24th Annual Arts & Crafts Adventure at Hodges Park,101 S. Courtland (Prospect & Vine across from Park Ridge City Hall), Park Ridge 60068 on Saturday, May 10 from 9am to 5pm.

Presented by American Society of Artists, a membership organization, the show will include members and non-members in this popular juried event. Work on display will range from paintings, quilting, photography and graphics to artwear, garden arts, jewelry, woodcrafts, glassworks, pottery and much more.

Held the day before Mother's Day it will afford you the opportunity to find a unique gift for Mother's Day or perhaps something special for yourself. You will enjoy exploring the many talents and treasures of the artists and craftsatists of American Society of Artists. Art In Action will be included in the show with some working/demonstrating at their booths at various times during the show. All the exhibitors will be happy to discuss thier work with you.

Among the area exhibitors will be Park Ridge artist Lois Bacarella exhibiting her wonderful unqiue wearable art. She is a long time popular exhibitor in the show and a member of the Society. Des Plaines exhibitors will include Zofia Mrowca exhibiting hand painted scarves, ties and pillows. She is a popular returning exhibitor. Palatine artist Linda Strickland, also a popular returning artist will exhibit her beautiful nature photogaphy.
