Library Seeks Artists and Collectors for Displays

Artists are invited to display their 3-D work in cases and on walls at the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. The invitation also extends to collectors. Displays should be appropriate for viewing by all ages and must be approved and scheduled by the library's Graphics Coordinator, Maureen Howell.

"We have plenty of painters scheduled for the next couple of years, so we're really looking for people who create art with pottery, fabric, wood, metal, and other materials," Howell said. "Our library visitors also love unique collections. We recently had a collection of 1982 World's Fair memorabilia that was quite popular."

Artists and collectors who have questions or would like to fill out an application may contact Howell by email at mhowell@stdl.org.
