Libertyvillee's Lee Donuts - Out with the Old, In with the New

I scream, you scream...

"We all scream for ice cream," is what Bill Kaiser, new owner of Lee Famous Donuts, is hoping everyone will be saying. Lee Donuts has undergone an upgrade, or more accurately a retro-grade, and has been converted into a 1950's style Donut and Ice Cream Shop complete with Etch-a-Sketches and Magic 8 Balls. Some things never change! We are still using the same recipe to make the great-tasting donuts you've loved for 25 years! In addition, new menu items will include Mitchell's Ice Cream, bagels, ham & cheese croissants, and Hansa Coffee which is roasted locally in Libertyville. Mitchell's Ice Cream, a South Side Chicago tradition since 1931, is also made in small batches just like Lee Donuts. Their rich flavors include: Pistachio, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Strawberry Chocolate Chip, Key Lime Sherbert, Butter Pecan, Cookie Dough, and so many more. So come on in, take a step back to simpler times, and experience all of what Lee Famous Donuts has to offer.

Bill Kaiser also owns Pampered Pup'z and produces Libertyville's Dog Days of Summer.
