Arlington Hts. looking for input on two neighborhood parks

The Arlington Heights Park District will be upgrading two neighborhood parks, and is looking for residents to share their ideas about what kind of improvements or renovations they would like to see.

Carousel Park, located at Suffield Drive and Forrest Lane, and Ravel Park, located at Highland Avenue and Burr Oak Drive, will both be upgraded in the near future, the park district recently announced.

Community input meetings for Carousel Park will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Frontier Community Center, 1913 N. Kennicott Drive.

Community input meetings for Raven Park will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Nickol Knoll Clubhouse, 3800 N. Kennicott Ave.

Those in attendance at the second meeting for each playground will have the opportunity to help choose the design of the playground equipment, according to the park district.
