The Oasis Grayslake Receives Grant Money

The Oasis/Grayslake Youth Center received a $2500 grant from AT&T which was facilitated by State Rep Sam Yingling,

$1500 from Grayslake Rotary and they also received $1000 from the Esper A Petersen Foundation which was facilitated by the Grayslake Rotary Club.

The Oasis was conceived in 2003 and opened in April 2008 to provide the teenagers of Grayslake and surrounding communities a safe and stimulating place to go after school and on weekends.

The Grayslake Youth Center / The Oasis continues to run 100% on donations and we are delighted to be able to provide services to 15,000 – 20,000 teens per year. They run several fundraisers during the year that include:

Crusin' for the Kids car show

Downtown Rib Throwdown

Annual Golf Outing

Good Vibrations Motorcycle Poke Run

Dead Last 5k, Zombie Fun Run
