Author/Illustrator Kevin Luthardt to Visit Children at Schaumburg Township District Library
Picture book author and illustrator Kevin Luthardt will present his new picture book, When Edgar Met Cecil, from 4-5 p.m., Monday, Jan. 27 in the Rasmussen Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Children ages 6 to 14 are invited to drop in and learn the process of making books, from generating a story idea to the published book. Luthardt will share sketches, storyboards, final artwork and a step-by-step drawing demonstration, where children can draw along with him. No fee or registration is required to attend this program.
