Paramedic/firefighter to speak to Dundee Lions Nov. 7

Firefighter and paramedic Dave Strossner will present a program at the Dundee Lions meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7.

He will focus on common emergency situations that any of us might be confronted with and elaborate on things we might do as well as what not to do to alleviate a situation.

Strossner draws from a wealth of experience as he has been with the West Dundee fire department for 20 years. He has also been their CPR coordinator for 18 years.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Squire, 125 Washington St. in West Dundee. Although this is a regular meeting for the Lions, the public is invited. Anyone interested in attending should call Gene Tester at (847) 807-2332.

The Lions is a worldwide service organization for both men and women. Much of its activities are for raising money and supporting local charities.
