Lao American Organization offering help with ACA registration
The Lao American Organization of Elgin is providing free assistance to sign up for health insurance as a result of the new Affordable Care Act and Illinois State Health Marketplace.
The organization will host forums from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, Oct. 26, Dec. 7, and Jan. 4 and March 1, in the meeting room at the Messenger Public Library, 113 Oak St. in North Aurora: and 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 16, Dec. 14, and Jan. 11, Feb. 8 and March 8, in the Elgin Room at Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin.
Assistance will be available in Lao and English.
