Aldo Leopold play comes to Prairie Center for the Arts Nov. 10

'Aldo Leopold – A Standard of Change' will be performed at 7 p.m., Nov. 10 at the Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Court.

The one-man play written by and starring Jim Pfitzer brings noted 20th century conservationist, philosopher and writer Aldo Leopold back to the humble Wisconsin ‘shack' that inspired many of his ground-breaking ideas about ecology, conservation and culture. The show takes place during one evening in and around Leopold's shack as he reacquaints himself with his beloved landscape, remembers influential friends and family, quotes from some of his most important writings and ponders his legacy.

The play will be performed in the Lecture Hall, an intimate 100-seat space.

The performance is co-sponsored by the Prairie Center for the Arts and Schaumburg Park District.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, children and seniors.
