Burlington Central 2nd at BNC tournament
Senior Jenna Kurosky shot an 83 Wednesday to lead the Burlington Central girls golf team to a second-place finish at the Big Northern Conference tournament at Timber Pointe in Belvidere.
The Rockets shot a 369 as a team to finish 8 strokes behind Richmond-Burton, the league champion. Byron was third with a 398.
Josie Kurosky, Jenna’s sophomore sister, had an 87 for BC, while Haleigh Graham shot a 98 and Allison Colby 101.
Richmond’s Blake Betke was second individually with an 84 and Genoa-Kingston’s Andrea Strohmaier placed third with an 85.
