Palatine Park District to hold first Harvest Moon Bike Ride

Palatine Park District and the Bike Palatine Club will host the first Harvest Moon Bike Ride at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, beginning at the Palatine Hills Golf Course, 512 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The 7.5-mile ride will follow part of the Palatine Trail and neighboring streets. It will end at the golf clubhouse for refreshments. Riders must be at least 16 and have helmets and lights. The fee is $5 for residents and $6 for others. Preregister at using code 6705-3. A limited number of Harvest Moon Bike Ride long sleeve T-shirts will be available for $12.
