Pool Passes Available through Neighboring Park Districts

Due to the extensive repair process of the underground drainage system, Addison Park District’s outdoor pool in Community Park will remain closed for the 2013 season. The Park District Board of Commissioners and staff are committed to repairing the 37-year old pool with the intent to open the Family Aquatic Center for the 2014 season.

Effective July 1, 2013, Roselle Park District has extended the resident rate to all Addison residents. Addison residents may purchase a pool pass at the Roselle resident rate at their Community Rec. Center located at 555 W. West Bryn Mawr. Roselle’s Kemmerling Pool is located at 400 S. Prospect Ave in Roselle.

Additionally, Wood Dale Park District is offering the “Wood Dale resident rate” to all Addison residents for daily admission and pool passes to Wood Dale’s public pool, “The Beach,” located at 161 West Commercial Street. Passes can be purchased at the Recreation Complex, 111 E. Foster Avenue, Wood Dale.

Addison’s swimming lessons have been moved indoors to Club Fitness for the summer. Youth lessons will be held on weekday nights. Because indoor space is limited, families are encouraged to register early to avoid placement on a waiting list. Addison Park District is partnering with Wood Dale and Roselle Park Districts for those wishing to take swimming lessons in the mornings. Additional information about swimming lessons is located on the website at www.addisonparks.org.

The Addison Park District is dedicated to providing the highest quality recreational opportunities and open space for everyone. The 2013 Summer Fun Guide is available in each facility and online at www.addisonparks.org with leisure activities for all ages and lifestyles.
