King's Brass Performing June 26 at Faith Lutheran Church

On Wednesday, June 26th at 7pm the Faith Fine Arts Committee is pleased to announce that we are back by popular demand, hosting Tim Zimmerman and the King's Brass in concert. Following the concert, there will be a time where you will have an opportunity to greet the performers with an Ice Cream Social sponsored by the Faith Fine Arts Committee. There will be also a special message presented by the King's Brass to children so families with young children are especially encouraged to attend!

Making a special guest appearance with Tim Zimmerman and the King's Brass will be the Exalt Brass ensemble so it will be a brass spectacular program not to be missed!

Michael Gagne, Minister of Music at Faith Lutheran Church will also be accompanying the King's Brass on a few pieces on the church's mighty 3 manual, 30+rank M.P. Moller pipe organ.

Tim Zimmerman and The King's Brass present hymn classics with a contemporary flair. The King's Brass features three trumpets, three trombones, a tuba, percussion and keyboards. These instruments blend together to create a time of innovative worship that will be enjoyed by all generations.

Secular and sacred music critics alike applaud their concerts as "superb in every way" and "innovative and well played." "Truly, an unforgettable experience!"

The King's Brass, formed three decades ago, is comprised of professional musicians from across the country, who desire to use the instruments they love to lead others in praise and worship.

This year the group will be celebrating their 35thAnniversary Tour. As a result, The King's Brass will be introducing their sixteenth recording titled “The Best of Tim Zimmerman and The King's Brass – The First 35 Years.” This CD, released on the Summit Records label (www.summitrecords.com), features the groups favorites from their past CD releases as well as three new bonus selections.

Admission is FREE and open to the general public. A free-will donation will be collected for support of the King's Brass ministries.
