Arts in Bartlett sponsors Bird House Art Competition

Start your family or group summer project now for the “Decorate a Birdhouse” Heritage Days art competition for all ages sponsored by Arts in Bartlett. Your birdhouse will be showcased at the annual Bartlett Heritage Days Festival on September 7 and 8 in the Arts in Bartlett area in the park on the corner of Railroad and Main St. The winners for each category will receive a ribbon, certificate and free 1-year membership to Arts in Bartlett. They will also be featured in press releases and newsletters. The birdhouses will be donated for a silent auction at an event later in the year to raise money for a high school senior scholarship and our Budding Talent Grant, which provides lessons, supplies, camps or other support to help young people who display an exceptional talent. A variety of inexpensive unpainted birdhouses are available at local craft stores and free birdhouse building workshops are also available at local home supply stores.
