Daily camp activities include games and crafts led by camp counselors. This exciting camp features swimming on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at each site's pool. The Community Recreation Center site swims at Atcher Island, 730 S. Springinsguth Road. Children must bring a valid pool pass or pay a daily fee of $4 at Bock and Meineke Pools and $5 at Atcher Island. Children must pass a basic swim test before being allowed to swim.

"The program is free, fun and outdoors," said Pam Gauper, party coordinator for the District. "The campers are always engaged in fun activities at the District or on one of the exciting field trips."

Thursday activities consist of various adventures and excursions. This summer's Thursday Expeditions include picnics at the Community Recreation Center and field trips to the Sport Center, Volkening Lake, Xtreme Trampolines, Chicago Bulls and White Sox Academy and the Schaumburg Police and Fire Stations. Children must attend camp at least two days prior to participate in field trips. Times and fees vary on Thursdays for field trips and picnics.

Fantastic Fridays take place each week at a different site. This summer's activities include tie-dying, patriotic activities, massive messy fun and a day filled with water balloons. Pre-registration is required. Fee per event date is $9 for residents and $13 for non-residents. Children must attend camp at least two days prior to participate in Fantastic Fridays. Transportation is not included.

A complete calendar of activities is available at each site on the first day of camp and parkfun.com.

No registration is required for the free drop-in program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Fees and pre-registration are available at parkfun.com or District registration facilities for Thursday Expeditions and Fantastic Fridays.
