Beautiful Day for Smart Farm’s Seedling Sale

The skies parted and the sun came out last Saturday for Smart Farm of Barrington's organic vegetable seedling sale and celebration of its partnership with Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. Smart Farm's new hoop house and gardens are located on the hospital's Barrington campus. The hoop house and garden will double Smart Farm's growing space and extend their growing season.
Smart Farm will have another vegetable seedling sale at the hoop house on Saturday, June 1 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Available will be many varieties of tomatoes including grapes and heirlooms, peppers including various colors of bells and jalapeno, cucumbers, eggplant, a variety winter and summer squash, and many types of herbs.
