Banking Veteran Ed Connelly Joins Staff at The Peoples' Bank of Arlington Heights

The Peoples' Bank of Arlington Heights has tabbed Ed Connelly of Cary as their new Commercial Banking Officer. Connelly, 60, most recently served as Portfolio Manager at BMO Harris.

“With over 35 years of banking experience, Ed brings a tremendous amount of background and ability to our bank,” said Frank Appleby, President of The Peoples' Bank. “He is very knowledgeable about the business climate in this specific area and his extensive contacts should allow him to rapidly build and extend relationships with clients.”

Connelly took on his new role effective April 16th and has immersed himself in getting up to speed. “I'm very pleased to be back in a position to represent an agile and growing bank and look forward to building the portfolio at The Peoples' Bank in a manner consistent with their outstanding reputation for intelligent and successful lending.”

Previously involved with the Kiwanis, Rotary and CEDA, Connelly anticipates becoming involved with various groups in the Arlington Heights area. A graduate of Quincy University and the Keller Graduate School of Management, Connelly has spent his entire career in the banking industry.
