The Junior Eagles will be participating in the Chicagoland Youth Football League Spring 7 on 7 League. There are two age groups — sixth/seventh-graders and seventh/eighth-graders.

The games are played outdoors at Barrington High School starting in April. More information will be distributed in February.

The Lake in the Hills/Algonquin Junior Eagles Youth Football Program was founded in 1985 and has since been the area’s premier youth football team for children ages 5-14 featuring both a tackle and a flag football program.

In 2010, the organization switched its name from the Falcons to the Junior Eagles to further solidify its identity as the primary feeder team for Jacobs High School’s Golden Eagles Football Team.

In the short span that the Junior Eagles have been in the Chicagoland Youth Football League, the Eagles have produced 11 TCYFL championship teams at both the Big 10 and Pac 10 levels.
