Submitted by Raue Center for the Arts

Mad River Theatre Works will present “Walk On: The Story of Rosa Parks” at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake.

This production is an unforgettable telling of Rosa Parks; a black woman who refused to give up her seat on a city bus and created an uproar that launched the Civil Rights movement changing the country forever. This special performance is part of Mission Imagination, Raue Center’s arts education program made by the generous support of the Foglia Family Foundation.

Limited seats are open to the public so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and can be purchased online at www.rauecenter.org, or via the box office at 26 N. Williams St. in historic downtown Crystal Lake or by calling (815) 356-9212.
