Sen. Nolan to speak at Hanover Twp. group health care forum
The Hanover Township Democrats and Independents, or HanDI, will host an informational event on the Affordable Care Act from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Poplar Creek Public Library, 1405 S. Park Ave., Streamwood. The forum, which is free and open to the public, will feature John Gaudette, organizing director at Citizen Action Illinois; Randall Mark, director of intergovernmental affairs and policy for the Cook County Health and Hospitals System; and state Sen. Michael Noland, who is serving on a legislative committee tasked with setting up the state health insurance exchange. They will discuss what changes are in store for Illinois.
