School day-off field trips being offered by Spring Valley

Don't have a boring day-off school!

Schaumburg Park District will provide opportunities for youth ages 7 to 12 to visit two of Chicago's world-class museums on scheduled School District 54 holidays this winter. The school day-off field trips will depart at 9 a.m., Jan 18 and 21 from Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road. Participants will visit the Field Museum of Natural History on Jan. 18 and the Museum of Science and Industry on Jan. 21. Children will be transported by van and accompanied by Spring Valley program staff. Both trips return at 4 p.m. to Spring Valley Nature Center.

Space is limited. Pre-registration is required by Jan. 15. Fee per trip is $36. Participants must bring a lunch.
