Des Plaines Police Department Welcomes 6 Patrol Officers

Des Plaines City Clerk Gloria J. Ludwig issued the oath of police patrol officer to Jack Azar, Thomas Doig, Carl Faust, Jimmy Armstrong, Curtis Miller and William Cozzens at 1 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2013, in the City Council Chambers, 1420 Miner Street. The newly sworn officers will attend the Chicago Police Academy. Following graduation from the Academy in approximately March or April, 2013, they will begin field training with the Des Plaines Police Department. Three firefighter/paramedics, Patrick Tennant, Daniel Garhan and Edward Wilson, were also sworn into City service at the January 2, 2013 ceremony at City Hall.
