Spring Valley is the place for unique gifts for children and adults!

Spring Valley’s Woods & Fields Shop, located inside the Vera Meineke Nature Center at 1111 E. Schaumburg Road, contains unique and inexpensive gift items for the nature enthusiast on any holiday shopping list. Items for sale include nature-themed full-color T-shirts, wildflower and bird field guides for beginners, starter rock and mineral collections, bins full of fun plastic ‘creepy crawlies,’ real maple syrup and farm-related items.

The new 2013 Spring Valley wall calendar will brighten up any room with beautiful images of wildflowers, Heritage Farm and natural scenery. The calendars are $10.

The Woods & Fields Shop is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
