Halloween fun at the Palatine parks party Oct. 27

Palatine Park District presents its annual Halloween Party from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Community Center, 250 E. Wood St., Palatine.

This event for ages 1 to 10 includes the jack-o’-lantern gym for the wee ones, challenging games, ghoulish goodies and a creative crafty table. Puppet show entertainment will be provided by the Palatine Public Library, and Jim Nesci brings back his popular Cold Blooded Creatures show at 10:30 a.m.

Tickets are $5 resident/$6 nonresident in advance and $7 day of event, if available. Parents are not required to purchase a ticket, but they must remain with and supervise their children throughout the party.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center. Tickets may also be purchased by mail through Friday, Oct. 19, with checks made payable to the Palatine Park District, 250 E. Wood St., Palatine, IL 60067. Mail orders must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. There are no refunds or exchanges, and tickets must be presented at the door.
