Dance documentary comes to Cutting Hall in Palatine
Dance Documentary “5,6,7,8” to be shown Oct. 6, at Cutting Hall
Palatine Park District presents a new Cutting Hall Film Series this fall. The second film of the series, dance documentary “5,6,7,8,” will be shown at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Palatine Road, Palatine. The film, winner of Best Documentary at the 2010 Blue Whisky Independent Film Festival, will be shown on the theater’s new projection screen.
“5,6,7,8” is a documentary that captures the emotions and excitement of a year in the life of Nova Jazz, an elite girls dance company. The dancers, ages 10 to 18, are based out of The Pulse Performing Arts Studio in Bedford Hills, N.Y.
