Huntley forum set to meet Democratic candidates

Huntley Seniors for Progressive Action

It's time to register for and get ready to attend the Huntley Seniors for Progressive Action Election 2012 Forum.

The forum will be Sept. 20 at the Huntley Park District Cosman Theater. Scheduled to address the forum are Democratic congressional candidates Dennis Anderson of the 14th District and Leslie Coolidge of the 6th District.

This event is a good opportunity for voters in the Huntley and McHenry County area to get to know the candidates and their positions on key issues such as jobs and the economy, Social Security, health care, taxes and regulation. Free coffee and dessert will be provided.

To register, you must RSVP via email to huntleyproactive@gmail.com, providing your name and the number of people in your group who will be attending.

The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Cosman Theater, Huntley Park District, 12015 Mill St., Huntley. Huntley Seniors for Progressive Action says, “We'll bring the dessert … you bring the questions.”
