New fences for Greenbrier park baseball fields

The east and west baseball fields at Arlington Heights’ Greenbrier Park will receive new fencing this fall. At their meeting Tuesday night, Arlington Heights Park District Board members agreed on spending roughly $25,800 to replace the backstop and sideline fencing on those two fields.

The current fences will be removed and replaced by coated chain-link fences. Fencing at the sidelines will also be longer than the current one.
