Sport Center Family Fun Night returns Sept. 22

Spend an early fall evening enjoying sports with family.

Schaumburg Park District's Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road, will host a family fun night from 6 to 8 p.m., Sept. 22 in honor of Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play, which encourages kids to turn off the television and go out and play.

The event will offer opportunities for families to participate in a variety of structured, supervised sports, games and activities in the District's 110,000 square foot indoor facility. Activities will include basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, preschool tot lot, soccer, t-ball, softball and gymnastics obstacle courses.

Sport Center Family Fun Night is a Schaumburg CAN (Children – Activity – Nutrition) event. Schaumburg CAN's mission is to align the community around opportunities that build a foundation of healthy activity and nutrition for children.

Concessions will be available for purchase. Pre-register for this event and receive a gift at the door.

Event is free for residents and $5 for non-resident families.
