Kindergarten preregistration will take place at the three elementary schools in Wauconda Unit District 118 on Wednesday, April 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. Students must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2012 and live within the boundaries of District 118 to be eligible to preregister for kindergarten. Parents will be asked to complete the necessary paperwork to enroll their child and to bring the following documents: two pieces of proof of residency and the child's state-issued birth certificate. Registration packets may be picked-up in advance at the school offices beginning April 2.
