Hanover Twp. seniors showcase art

Hanover Township seniors will be showcasing their artwork in the “Got Art?” show to run through the month of August. Most of the art on display was created in the township’s art classes held at the Hanover Township Senior Center.

“It is wonderful to see such creativity and enthusiasm from people who may have never pursued their artistic ability before,” said Barbara Kurth Schuldt, director of Hanover Township Senior Services. “Over 300 pieces of art will be on display for the public to view.”

On Tuesday, Aug. 16, the public is invited to attend an artist reception from 3-6 p.m. at the Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett. Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Live music will also be performed during the reception.
