• Kevin A. Crane, 20, of the 6100 block of North Legett, Chicago, was arrested around 7:50 p.m. July 23 on the 1900 block of Birch Street and charged with traffic violations and city ordinances possession of marijuana and fireworks. His court date is Aug. 16.

• Devon J. Moody, 19, of the 200 block of Blackberry Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested around 7:30 p.m. July 22 on the 1200 block of East Oakton Street and charged with possession of marijuana.

• Thieves stole a boys' unlocked silver bicycle parked near the bike rack at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 E. Ellinwood St., between 5 and 6 p.m. July 20. Value was estimated at $150.

• Burglars broke into a 2010 Dodge Challenger on the 2300 block of South Webster Lane between 5 and 11:26 p.m. July 23 and stole a radar detector and GPS unit. Value was estimated at $700.

• Burglars broke into a 2009 Nissan sedan on the 800 block of Carlow Drive between 7 and 9:49 p.m. July 23 and stole a purse with wallet, cash, gift cards, sunglasses and credit cards. Loss was estimated at $1,000.

Hoffman Estates

• Thieves broke the lock on a locker and stole $40 out of a wallet in a men's locker room in a park district building, 1685 W. Higgins Road, between 3 and 4 p.m. July 23.

• Burglars broke into a 2009 Ford Fusion, 2009 Buick Enclave, and a 2004 Dodge Caravan at Cannon Crossing Park, 1675 Nicholson Drive, between 5:30 and 6:15 p.m. July 24 and stole a purse out of each vehicle. Value was estimated at $100.

Mount Prospect

• Thieves stole three bins of holiday decorations valued at $500 out of a storage locker in an apartment building on the 300 block of Enterprise Drive between July 15 and 25.

• Thieves stole two dining room chairs, box of toys, food processor, and wok off a driveway on the 1000 block of Beechwood between 10 p.m. July 24 and 1 p.m. July 25. The victim had placed the items on the driveway because the home was flooded. Value was estimated at $400.

• A male driver pumped gas valued at $100 into a pickup truck at the Citgo gas station, 2107 Busse Road, around 8:05 a.m. July 25 but drove off without paying.

• Burglars stole the in-dash radio/CD player, two speakers, and the spare tire and rim out of a 1993 Honda Accord on the 500 block of Enterprise Drive between 7 p.m. July 23 and 3:30 p.m. July 24. Value was estimated at $700.

• Burglars broke into a 2007 Dodge Charger on the 2200 block of Delaware Drive between 10 p.m. July 21 and 2 p.m. July 24 and stole the radio faceplate. Loss was estimated at $350.

• A thief swapped a men's silver mountain bike for a men's white bike parked in front of a home on the 900 block of South Louis between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. July 22. Value of the stolen bicycle was estimated at $250.

• A thief left a men's black and white bike at a home on the 800 block of Golfview between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. July 22 and stole a men's aqua BMX bike out of the backyard. Value of the stolen bike and lock was estimated at $225.

• Burglars stole a GPS valued at $160 out of a 2007 Nissan Xterra in an apartment lot on the 1500 block of West Dempster Street between 1:30 and 11 a.m. July 23.

Schaumburg

• Paulina Maciantowicz, 23, of the 4100 block of Bonhill Drive, Arlington Heights, was arrested around 3:20 a.m. July 17 at Drink bar, 871 E. Algonquin Road, and charged with battery after she reportedly threw a plastic cup that hit a woman above her eye. A court date is Aug. 17.
