The St. Mary of Huntley Knights of Columbus Council has been working with FIAMC for more than three years, coordinating the Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet for the southern portion of McHenry County and all of Sun City in Huntley. FIAMC has additional DME loan closets in McHenry, Crystal Lake, and Marengo. The Knights of Columbus provide DME pickup and delivery service to senior adults in need of durable medical equipment approximately 20 times each month.

Any senior adult residing in McHenry County or Sun City, requiring such medical equipment as wheelchairs, walkers, toilet risers, shower chairs, etc., should contact FIAMC at (815) 455-3120 to borrow donated items from the Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet (loans are for as long as needed and at absolutely no-cost to the borrower, donations gladly accepted). Contact FIAMC to make a tax-deductible donation of gently used and clean equipment. Wheelchairs are especially welcome.
