The Bartlett Park District girls in-house basketball league recently held it's end of season All Star Games.

This season, 70 girls played in third/fourth-grade and 50 in fifth/sixth-grade in-house leagues. The coach of each in-house league team nominated their top two-three players to participate.

The girls chosen practiced for three hours and then played their all-star game on Saturday, March 19, in front a huge crowd at the Bartlett Community Center.

The third/fourth-grade team was coached by volunteers John Standefer, John Wafford and Jason Sharko and the Fifth/Sixth Grade team by Nicole Jara, Rita Castans and Jacki DiMaggio.

Players were awarded an all-star medal at the conclusion of the game to recognize their achievement.
