Book sale and model trains:Friends of the Fremont Library host their monthly used book sale 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 13, and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 14 at the library, 1107 Midlothian Road, Mundelein. The North Central O Gaugers Model Railroaders will run model trains from 1 to 4 p.m. each day. Registration is free. The Sparkles begin practice in August and will cheer along with the Viking Cheerleaders at games this fall.
