A letter from the editor to the graduates of the Class of 2022
Well, you've made it.
And you ended on a high note. You were fortunate to have bookended your four years of high school with relatively normal ones.
You persevered during the difficult peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, learning how to roll with the changes presented to you every day.
This will serve you well as you enter the workforce or college. Life has a funny way of changing on a dime.
And you've proven you can handle it.
Now make the best of what comes next for you. We're proud of what you've achieved so far, and we're eager to see what you choose to do with all of that knowledge sparking in your brains, the fire in your bellies and the love in your hearts.
We're counting on you to help make the world a better place in whatever way best suits you.
We hope you'll hold onto this keepsake section as you would your yearbooks.
There will come a time when you'll get nostalgic, and this will help you remember your time in high school and the unusual circumstances surrounding this pivotal period in your life.
This is the third year we've put together graduation special sections. The first was a gift to the Class of 2020, which largely missed out on graduation ceremonies. We got so much positive feedback that we decided to make it a tradition.
Credit continues to go to Assistant Managing Editor Charles Keeshan and Deputy Visuals Editor Paul Valade, for heading up this monumental effort.

All told, 93 high schools are represented in this section and two others, zoned for different geographic areas of the suburbs we cover.
It was a big undertaking, but we didn't do this alone. We got a tremendous amount of help from principals and staff members at these high schools. We appreciate their efforts in supporting the project.
