The chorus is directed by Reid Taylor with assistant director Jon Warfel. Chorus master Reid Taylor has led and prepared choruses throughout the United States and Europe. His choruses have engaged in international tours and have been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall. Taylor studied opera and piano at the Cleveland Institute of Music and linguistics at Case Western Reserve and can also currently be seen conducting the West Suburban Symphony Chorus and The Singing Men of Oakbrook. He is the founder of Reid Taylor Productions and also serves as a board member and treasurer of Lyric Opera Stage Artists.

The Naperville Chorus was founded in 1976 as an organization dedicated to the advancement of choral music, the encouragement of participation in group singing, the development of the appreciation of good music, the presentation of choral programs, and the encouragement of cultural music in the community. The chorus is closely associated with North Central College in Naperville and is part of the Music Department curriculum. Students can earn college credit through chorus participation. Since 2008, the chorus has been privileged to call the Wentz Concert Hall and Fine Arts Center their performance and rehearsal home.
