Over 500 youth football players to join in Naperville Saints Jamboree Scrimmage

The Naperville Saints Youth Football Organization is hosting the second annual Jamboree Scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 12, at Knoch Park.

The event will host more than 500 youth football players, ages 8 to 14.

Celebrating a heritage going back 60 years as St. Raphael Football, the Naperville Saints strive to carry the legacy forward. The organization has experienced 108% growth within a span of just two years, which is directly reflected in the size of the intra-league scrimmage.

The event will foster a fun and competitive atmosphere, capping off the second full week of practices.

"We are incredibly proud of the progress our young players have made. The success is a testament to the commitment of our players, coaches, and volunteers, and it also reflects the unwavering support from our community," said Tom Liabo, president of the Naperville Saints Youth Football organization.

The program's dedication to creating a safe and positive environment for young athletes to develop their skills and passion for football has been a driving force behind this resurgence.

"The revival of youth football in the Naperville area is really something to see, and great to be a part of. With the program growth, the return of sideline cheer - we are just thrilled to showcase the incredible talent and passion of our young athletes at this year's jamboree," added Mike Lemons, vice president of the Naperville Saints.

The Naperville Saints Youth Football organization is dedicated to providing young athletes with a safe, supportive, and empowering environment to nurture their football skills and passion for the game. Focusing on skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork, the Naperville Saints are committed to shaping the future of football in the Naperville area.
