Huntley asking for input from local business owners

The Village of Huntley is beginning to update its comprehensive land use plan which is expected to be adopted in early 2024.

On Tuesday, June 27, the village invites Huntley business owners to a "Comprehensive Plan Business Workshop" from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the municipal complex, 10987 Main St.

It will help the village gain insight into specific concerns facing the business community. This is Huntley business owners an opportunity to tell the village what you think, before plans and recommendations are crafted.

RSVP's are appreciated by emailing Charles Nordman, director of development services, at cnordman@huntley.il.us.

All business owners and operators are encouraged to attend!

Come prepared to: 1.) identify specific issues and opportunities facing the business community; 2.) build consensus on the long-term character and composition of businesses in Huntley; and 3.) identify projects and improvements that will have a positive long-term impact on local businesses and entrepreneurship in Huntley.

The village's comprehensive plan will serve as a blueprint for our future. It will provide a foundation for decision-making, direct future growth and development, and help guide the village as it works to implement the community's vision.
