Chop Around the Clock returns for 32nd year June 2-3
This year marks the 32nd year Foltos' Tonsorial Parlor at 7 E. Wilson St. in Batavia has produced "Chop Around the Clock."
Beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, June 2, through 4 p.m. Saturday, June 3, the stylists will be cutting hair and donating all the proceeds to the Ronald McDonald's Children's Charities.
This 24-hour fun-filled event features music, dancing, bake sale, raffles, balloon blowing, bingo, open mic, poetry, hot dogs and more.
Over the past three decades, they have raised more than $350,000.
This can't be done without help from bakers, dancers, entertainers, or anything you can think of - as well as people to get haircuts.
The fun begins from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday with haircuts, food and balloon blowing.
At 6 p.m., the music begins as well as the brisket cookout. Enjoy a pulled pork BBQ and brisket, hot dogs and anything else extravaganza at the Chop.
Kids games will be offered at 7 p.m.
From 8 to 11 p.m., join in the "world's longest conga line," balloons, bingo, dancing, musicians, kids' games and more
Overnight from 11 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday, the fun really gets started with music, stories, and late night haircuts.
On Saturday, bring a breakfast at 8 a.m., then enjoy musical entertainment and kids' games from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
There will be face painting, more music, more food and, of course, haircuts, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
