St. Catherine of Siena in West Dundee sets Easter schedule
St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in West Dundee has set its Easter schedule for Palm Sunday, Holy Week services, and Easter Mass.
Stations of the Cross will be held on Fridays, March 31 and April 7, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Parish, 10 Matteson St. in Gilberts, and 7 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena, 845 W. Main St.
On Palm Sunday April 2-3, worship will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 7:30, 9:30 (also livestreamed) and 11:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church; and 9 a.m. at St. Mary, Gilberts.
Morning prayer will be held at 8 a.m. April 6-8. On Holy Thursday, April 6, Mass of the Lord's Supper with incense will be at 7 p.m. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament after Mass until midnight.
On Good Friday, April 7, join Commemoration of the Lord's Passion at 3 p.m. and Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. This is a day of fast and abstinence.
On Holy Saturday, April 8, the Blessing of Easter Food Baskets will be at 10:30 a.m., and Easter Vigil Mass with incense at 7:30 p.m. (No 4:30 p.m. Mass).
On Easter Sunday, April 9, worship will be at 7:30, 9:30 with incense (also livestreamed), and 11:30 a.m. St. Mary Church in Gilberts will celebrate Mass at 9 a.m. with incense.
