Lombard church to host smartphone class Feb. 9

Faith United Methodist Church in Lombard is hosting its third free smartphone training class on Thursday, Feb. 9. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the church, 815 S. Finley Road. They have named this class "Third Time is the Charm!"

Attendance at the December class was high with 16 students plus seven Scouts and leaders that provided invaluable on-hands assistance, by demonstrating phone features and answering participants' questions. The Scouts and leaders will be returning for the third class.

Topics for the upcoming class will include: texting, sending and receiving messages, and creating a wallpaper backgound for your phone (Android or iPhone). Bring your questions!
