Illinois resident named Junior Miss Earth USA

Kailee Albeck from Round Lake, 12, was recently crowned the national title of Junior Miss Earth USA 2023 through the Miss Earth USA Junior Ambassador Program.
No stranger to the Miss Earth Organization, Kailee held the title of Little Miss Illinois Earth USA the last two years before being crowned Junior Miss Illinois Earth USA this past summer.
This is the first time anyone from Illinois has captured a national Earth Title. With her platform Crayons for Kids, she collects used and unwanted crayons and recycles them for children's hospitals.
As an Environmental Pageant System, the Miss Earth Organization and Beauties for a Cause empower women through community leadership, ecotourism and environmental education.
