Dr. Victoria A. Ursitti Installed as 2023 Treasurer of the Chicago Dental Society
A pediatric dentist with more than 25 years of experience, Victoria A. Ursitti, D.M.D., who practices in Arlington Heights, Illinois, was installed as the 2023 Treasurer of the Chicago Dental Society (CDS) on November 13. Dr. Ursitti has previously held multiple leadership positions with CDS, including Director and President of the Northwest Suburban Branch and President and Treasurer of the Independent Dental Organization.
As Treasurer, Dr. Ursitti will oversee CDS finances and help with preparations for the 158th Midwinter Meeting, which will be held at McCormick Place West in Chicago, February 23-25, 2023. The Midwinter Meeting is CDS' annual scientific meeting and one of the dental industry's premier events. The 2023 event will offer attendees access to more than 240 courses taught by world-class speakers and today's leaders in dental innovation, live exhibits, and networking opportunities with colleagues and friends.
In addition to her leadership roles with CDS, Dr. Ursitti serves on the Alumni Board of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, and previously served as president and currently serves as director of the DENT-IL-PAC for the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists. She is also a member of the CDS Mediation and Clinical Peer Review Committee, Illinois State Dental Society Government Affairs Committee and a director on the board of the Illinois Dental Lifeline Network, a nonprofit providing fragile populations access to dental care. She has held positions within the Illinois State Dental Society, including serving on the Board of Trustees, chair of the Finance and Planning Committee, board liaison to the Government Affairs Committee, member of the Capital Conference Committee, general chair of the 151st ISDS Annual Session and has served many years as a house delegate for both the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Society. She is an active member and has also served as president of the Arcolian Dental Arts Society, the philanthropic organization for Italian-American dentists of the Chicagoland area. Dr. Ursitti is a fellow of the International College of Dentists, American College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy and also holds memberships with the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry College of Diplomates.
Dr. Ursitti holds a bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Clinical Biology from Cornell University and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, along with a certificate in pediatric dentistry from University of Illinois at Chicago. She lives in Barrington Hills, Illinois, with her husband, Patrick. She has a son, Gianni, who is a college freshman at the University of Alabama and two adorable miniature Goldendoodles, Burton and Vanna. Dr. Ursitti is the owner of All About Kids Dentistry in Arlington Heights and Algonquin Kids Dentistry in Algonquin. She is actively involved in volunteer work, sponsoring many dental health fairs and events around the Northwest Suburban community. She also volunteers time with the CDS Foundation, Illinois Dentists Salute to Veterans, Illinois Mission of Mercy, and in years past, St. James Parish. She is an avid downhill skier and loves spending time with her family playing golf, traveling, attending sporting events and cooking.
Established in 1864, CDS is the largest local component of the American Dental Association, with more than 4,000 members in Cook, Lake and DuPage counties.
