Find a gift for everyone -- babies, kids, teens and adults -- on your holiday list at the Gail Borden Library Foundation's Mini Holiday Book Sale on Friday to Sunday, Nov. 25 to 27, at the main library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin.

The sale will feature gently used books in just about every genre including picture books, manga, mysteries, biographies, science fiction, historical fiction, romance, and much more.

Audiobooks, puzzles and more items will be for sale as well at bargain prices.

Need some ideas for holiday parties and meals? Holiday cookbooks and holiday-decorating guides will also be available.

Most items will be priced at $1 or $2.

To celebrate Small Business Saturday, the library is offering an additional deal. Buy one item, get the second item free all day on Nov. 26 at both the book sale and in Gail's Sales, the library's used book sale room.

The book sale and Gail's Sales will take place during regular library hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Proceeds from the book sale and Gail's Sales are used to help bring exciting exhibits such as GIANTS: African Dinosaurs, Robot Zoo and Pirate Island as well as special events and more to the library and community.
