Ashley HomeStore Opens new-look Algonquin showroom

A new Ashley HomeStore featuring a complete selection of home furnishings and room packages within an enhanced shopping experience has opened in Algonquin at 1500 Randall Road.

The national home furnishings retailer previously operated an Algonquin store on South Randall Road.

The new-look, 47,000 square-foot showroom features Ashley's new store design presenting room settings and visual displays which match the lifestyles of its shoppers, from active families with larger homes and outdoor spaces to those in apartments and smaller footprint homes.

Shoppers also can browse among outdoor furniture and accessories, children's furniture, home accents and wall decor, table lamps, floor lamps and wall lighting, mattresses and bedding.

"Our new store design is all about presenting merchandise that suits how our shoppers are living their lives," explains Jeff Magner, executive vice president marketing for Ashley HomeStore. "It's a much more intentional store presentation."

The new store's Studio settings, for example, appeal to recent grads, young married couples, those downsizing from larger, semi-traditional homes and others looking to maximize space without sacrificing quality or style, while keeping on budget.

The new store design also offers improved lighting and fewer walls to create better sight lines, Magner adds.

In keeping with Ashley HomeStore's commitment to the communities it serves, a portion of all mattress sales from the store will be donated to Ashley's Hope to Dream program. The initiative was founded in 2010 on the guiding principle that every child deserves a good night's sleep. Since its inception, Hope to Dream has gifted over 125,000 children in North America with twin beds for a better night's sleep.

Ashley's Purchase with Purpose program also gives shoppers the opportunity to give back to those in need at no additional cost. Programs provide a voice for the vulnerable, access to basic healthcare in developing countries and the hope of a good night sleep so a child can dream for tomorrow.
