League of Women Voters-Aurora Area to host program on redistricting Sept. 20

The League of Women Voters-Aurora Area and the Aurora Public Library District will present "Redistricting: Can We Do It Better?" on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Learn about how setting political boundaries impacts your life in real ways.

The program will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. at Santori Library's N125/N126 Combo Room, 101 S. River St. in Aurora.

The League of Women Voters Aurora Area was formed in the summer of 2019 serving Aurora and its surrounding communities of Oswego, North Aurora, Montgomery, and Sugar Grove.

Its mission is to empower voters and defend democracy. The League promotes informed, active participation in government, works to increase the understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
