World-famous stores, restaurants Keep Deer Park Town Center hopping

It's not enough to just be a shopping center anymore, and the people who run Deer Park Town Center certainly understand that.

Customers visit the lifestyle center for much more than just a quick shopping trip. The center, which opened in 2000, is a center of activity for people who are dining, shopping, watching a movie or just taking a walk.

"The center offers a collection of desirable national brands, locally owned businesses and seasonal events for the whole family to enjoy," said Angelika Fejklowicz, Marketing Coordinator at Deer Park Town Center. "As an open-air town center, walkability, accessibility and easy parking has always been a critical focus for Deer Park, which allows our guests a convenient and comfortable experience on-site."

One of the ways Deer Park Town Center has remained relevant over the years is through the infusion of new stores and restaurants, as well as services and events that have become popular throughout the region.

The center plays host to annual celebrations, such as Santa's Arrival & Fireworks and the Jazz & Wine Festival. It also has added several family-friendly events, including outdoor movie nights, summer concerts and food truck series.

"The stores are continually evolving by adding convenient ways to shop, including curbside pickup services, home design services and exceptional customer service," Fejklowicz said. "The combination of fresh programming, a robust tenant mix and outdoor activity make Deer Park a retail destination that community members want to continue to visit again and again."

There are more than 60 stores and restaurants at the center, including Anthropologie, Apple, Biaggi's, California Pizza Kitchen, Century Theatres, Crate&Barrel, lululemon, Noodles & Co., Pottery Barn, Sephora, Stoney River and Sundance.

"This year, Madison Reed Color Bar opened, providing gorgeous, lasting, high-quality hair color, made with ingredients Deer Park customers can feel good about," Fejklowicz said. "The Evereve store has relocated to a new, expanded, and completely remodeled store, and LensCrafters also relocated to a brand new store as well. StretchLab will be opening a location in Deer Park soon, providing one-on-one, customized assisted stretching sessions by a Certified Flexologist."

With all of those attributes, it's no wonder Deer Park Town Center was voted as the Best Shopping Center in the Daily Herald Readers' Choice Awards.

"We are truly appreciative of the support that the community has given us over the years," Fejklowicz said. "We always look forward to welcoming our shoppers and seeing them at our events, spending time with family and friends over dinner at one of our restaurants, or enjoying some retail therapy at their favorite stores. The support of our community is essential to keeping Deer Park Town Center thriving."
