Villa Park's Brewfest returns Oct. 1 featuring over 80 styles of craft beer and hard cider

The fifth annual Villa Park Brewfest on Saturday, Oct. 1, will feature beers from local and regional craft breweries as well as tasty food truck cuisine.

It will be held from 2 to 5:30 p.m. at Cortesi Veterans Memorial Park, 318 E. Kenilworth Ave.

You can sample from more than 80 different styles of craft beer and hard ciders from America's best craft brewers.

Plus vote for your favorite Illinois craft beer as we award the coveted Villa Park Brewfest Award to the top voted recipient.

Your Villa Park Brewfest tickets not only get you access to a great craft beer event, but you also get to raise your glass to support the Villa Park Veterans of Foreign War Post 2801. Post 2801 works year-round to support veterans and active military.

This is an 21-or-older event. Designated driver ticket holders must be 21 years and older, with valid ID, in order to enter the festival. Sorry, no pets of any kind are allowed inside the festival grounds. Children are strictly prohibited (including but not limited to babies in strollers or being carried in any sort of baby carrier).

Gold Pass tickets with early entry at 1 p.m. are $65. It includes 24 drink tickets, private restroom access, special samples of VIP beers and a commemorative tasting glass.

General admission tickets are $47. It includes 8 drink tickets and a commemorative tasting glass.

Tickets for designated drivers are $15. It includes complimentary soda and bottled water at the designated driver tent, and access to festival food, music and merchandise vendors. (Note: no beer or cider sampling allowed for designated drivers).

You can purchase a "Beer Schwing" lanyard for $5 so you can carry your pint glass hands-free at the fest.
