Wheeling Park District to host International Fest
Bring the whole family and celebrate the diversity of the Wheeling community at the Wheeling Park District's annual International Festival.
A variety of cultural entertainment from 17 different performers will feature music, dance, songs and costumes from all over the globe. Many organizations that promote and support the area's unique and diverse population also will be on hand to provide information and hands-on learning opportunities.
Local vendors include Mario's Comida Fresca, Flyin Hawaiian, El Famous Burrito, Billy Bricks and Sugar Rush Gelato.
This free event is from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Heritage Park Performance Pavilion, 201 Community Blvd., in Wheeling.
